Duration: 1 day a week for 15 weeks

Qualification: NOCN Level 2 NVQ in Trowel Occupations (Construction) - Bricklaying

Entry criteria: Level 2 in Bricklaying or trade experience, must be 19+ years old

This programme is designed for learners who have completed the Level 2 & Level 3 Bricklaying Qualifications and want to be fully qualified and gain a Blue Skilled worker CSCS card. Learners will be assessed in the workplace against several criteria to demonstrate competence. Learners will be required to send picture and video evidence to their assessor and attend progress meetings but will complete the majority of this programme in the workplace.

Learners will be assessed in the following areas:

· Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace

· Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace

· Erecting masonry structures in the workplace

· Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

· Setting Out to Form Masonry Structures in the Workplace

· One additional optional unit based on the scope of work within the learners work place.
