Course Description:

This Level 3 RQF qualification is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to be able to appropriately assess the vocational achievements of other learners. The qualification is suitable for learners who are teaching, coaching or training and/or who need to be able to assess vocational skills, on-the-job or in a training company, FE College, Adult Learning Service or a company’s internal training department. It is also suitable for learners who want to diversify into training and assessing on a part-time basis.

 

All courses at Salt Training Limited are offered flexibly with courses start times starting at 09.30 to enable busy parents the time to complete the school run. 

 

Who is this course aimed at?

The NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement will be appropriate for those whose role involves the assessment of both occupational competence and vocationally related achievement.

 

What will this Qualification Lead to?

The qualification strengthens the employability of learners, who if already employed can lead to internal advancement or provide an entry point to new training/coaching roles. Learners would typically be employed and Trainer/Assessors, Coaches and Tutors. Learners can also enter into self-employment as a Peripatetic Assessor, working for a range of employer

Learners can study for this qualification alongside a formal teaching qualification such as, NOCN Level 3 Award in Education and Training or can progress onto Internal Quality Assurance qualifications, such as NOCN Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, which enhances and expands their skills and knowledge and provides further employment and self-employment opportunities.
