Qualification Title: NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

This qualification comprises the following units;

  • Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training

  • Delivering education and training

  • Using resources for education and training

  • Assessing learners in education and training

  • Planning to meet the needs of learners in education and training

 

Course Description:

The NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is designed to provide an introduction to teacher education. Learners will gain knowledge about the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, inclusive teaching and learning approaches, facilitating learning and development with individuals or groups and the role of assessment in the teaching and learning process.

 

All courses at Salt Training Limited are offered flexibly with courses start times starting at 09.30 to enable busy parents the time to complete the school run. All programmes are one day a week in attendance at our training centre with additional remote work to be completed.

 

Who is this course aimed at?

The NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training prepares trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts. It requires observation and assessment of performance.

 

What will this Qualification Lead to?

On completion of this qualification learners could progress to:

• Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement

• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement

• Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment •

• Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training

Learners may also progress into employment as a tutor within:

• further education colleges

• adult and community education providers

• offender education

• work based learning providers

• the third/voluntary sector

• independent training organisations
