• One day a week for 20 weeks

• full time 5 days a week ( Monday-Friday) for 4 week

• One evening a week for 20 weeks

• Every Saturday for 20 weeks

What Will I learn:

• Construction Health and Safety

• The Construction Industry

• Setting Out Masonry Structures

• Construct Solid Walls

• Construct Cavity Walls

• Repair and Maintain Masonry

• Construct Masonry Cladding

 

Course Description:

During your studies at our state-of-the-art industry facilities you will receive hands on Bricklaying training from our Head of Centre who has over 40 years bricklaying experience. Our experienced trainer will equip you with all of the skills and knowledge you need to pursue a career as a qualified bricklayer. You will learn all that you need to work on site and help prepare you for you next steps.

 

All courses at Salt Training Limited are offered flexibly with courses start times starting at 09.30 to enable busy parents the time to complete the school run. 

 

Who is this course aimed at?

Candidate who have experience in Bricklaying either as a time served skilled worker with no formal qualifications or you have progressed through our Master Class programmes and hold a Diploma level one in Bricklaying qualification.

 

What will this Qualification Lead to?

The Level Two Diploma is in Bricklaying is the Training elements of the NVQ in Bricklaying enabling candidates to progress from this programme to completing their trade experience working as a bricklayer in the workplace and gathering the evidence required to complete the full NVQ qualification enabling successful candidates to receive a Blue CSCS card.
