What will I learn:

This qualification comprises the following 12 mandatory units.

• Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries

• Erect and dismantle access equipment and working platforms.

• Understanding information, quantities and communication with others

• Understanding construction technology

• Carry out masonry trade repairs.

• Carry out painting and decorating trade repairs.

• Carry out plastering trade repairs.

• Carry out plumbing trade repairs.

• Carry out wood trade repairs.

• Carry out tiling trade repairs.

• Carry out roofing trade repairs.

• Develop customer relationships.

 

Course Description:

During your studies at our state-of-the-art industry facilities you will receive hands on training in practical sessions covering Plastering, Tiling, Bricklaying, Plumbing, Carpentry and Roofing. This Multi-Trade qualification is designed to give you the skills needed to complete a range of projects from multiple trades within the industry. You will also learn about the construction industry, how to price and calculate materials for projects, new emerging technologies in the construction industry, how to work on a project safely and how to use access equipment.

All courses at Salt Training Limited are offered flexibly with course start times starting at 09.30 to enable busy parents the time to complete the school run. 

This exciting programme will allow you to experience a range of trades and equip you to complete projects from start to finish.

Who is this course aim at?

Candidates who have already hold a level one accredited qualification and want to gain a formal level two accredited qualification that is recognised in industry, preparing them for a full NVQ. Building Maintenance Workers, Caretakers and Property Developers will all benefit from the completion of this programme.
