What Will be Assessed:

This qualification comprises the following units;

• Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace

• Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace

• Erecting masonry structures in the workplace

• Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

• Setting Out to Form Masonry Structures in the Workplace

Description: The learner must achieve a minimum of 1 unit in this group.

• Erecting Masonry Cladding in the Workplace

• Erecting Thin Joint Masonry Structures in the Workplace

• Installing and Forming Specialist Masonry Elements in the Workplace

• Installing drainage in the workplace

• Placing and Compacting Concrete in the Workplace

• Repairing and maintaining masonry structures in the workplace

 

Course Description:

Our experienced Assessor will assess your competence within the work place for the above units enabling you to gain a full NVQ which will allow successful candidates the ability to gain a skilled worker Blue CSCS card. NVQ's are designed for candidates employed in the construction industry that have access to evidence required within this qualification. Depending on the evidence available, you could complete this qualification in 4-16 weeks within 1-2 visits form your assessor to your workplace. You will not need to attend a training centre so that you will not miss any time at work.

 

Who is this course aimed at?

Candidates who have completed the Accredited Level 2 Diploma In Bricklaying qualification or have extensive Bricklaying skills and experience who need to gain a full NVQ.

This qualification will lead to a Advanced NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Bricklaying
