Qualification Title: NOCN_Cskills Awards Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Construction) - Solid

What Will I learn:

This qualification comprises the following units;

  • Applying finishing plaster to prepared surfaces in the workplace

  • Applying solid render to background surfaces and producing finishes in the workplace

  • Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace

  • Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace

  • Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

  • Producing internal solid plastering finishes in the workplace

The learner must achieve a minimum of 1 unit in this Optional Group.

  • Applying projection plaster and render, and maintaining equipment in the workplace

  • Installing direct bond dry lining systems in the workplace

  • Installing mechanically fixed plasterboard in the workplace

  • Laying sand and cement screeds in the workplace

 

Course Description:

Our experienced Assessor will assess your competence within the work place for the above units enabling you to gain a full NVQ which will allow successful candidates the ability to gain a skilled worker Blue CSCS card. NVQ's are designed for candidates employed in the construction industry that have access to evidence required within this qualification. Depending on the evidence available, you could complete this qualification in 4-16 weeks within 1-2 visits form your assessor to your workplace. You will not need to attend a training centre so that you will not miss any time at work.

 

Who is this course aimed at?

Candidates who have completed the Accredited Level 2 Diploma In Plastering qualification or have extensive Plastering skills and experience who needs to gain a full NVQ.

 

What will this Qualification Lead to?

This qualification will lead to a Advanced NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Plastering
