Bricklaying Advanced Skills Bootcamp

Duration: 2 days a week for 15 weeks

Qualifications: NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying

Entry criteria: Level 2 Bricklaying qualification or trade experience, must be 19+ years old

This programme is designed for learners who have already completed the Skill Bootcamp in Bricklaying level 2 and what to be an advanced craft qualification holder towards their Gold CSCS Card.

This Skills bootcamp will include all of the required workshop and classroom training to enable an individual to achieve a full level 3 diploma in Bricklaying and a Green CSCS card. Learners will have completed the full level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying to enter this skills Bootcamp. The qualification embedded in this programme will be the NOCN skills Awards Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying (Construction) - 2022 . This programme is designed for learners who already have some experience or qualifications in bricklaying but want to progress the careers further by gaining an advanced level 3 qualification.

Learners will cover the following units

· Analysing Technical Information, Quantities and Communication with Others

· Analysing the Construction Industry and Built Environment

· Health, Safety and Welfare in Construction and Associated Industries

· Repair and Maintain Masonry Structures

· Construct Chimneys and Fireplace Structures

· Construct Complex Masonry Structures

· Construct Decorative Features
