Plasterer and Multi-Trades construction trainer

Hours - 37.5 Hours per week 

Salary - £30,000 

Responsible To - Deputy Principal 

Job Purpose - To be responsible for delivering Plastering & Construction training to learners aged 16 plus. An experienced and motivated Trainer delivering high-quality, hands-on training to learners in most construction trade areas with a particular focus on Plastering & Tiling as part of a broader construction curriculum. The Trainer role will deliver a set curriculum, manage groups of learners' achievements, Attendance, and Engagement. The Trainer role will continuously develop their curriculum area, physical resources and practice to ensure that their programmes are up to date and relevant with industry requirements.

Skills - Essential: - Industry-recognized qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 2365, 6189, 18th Edition) Or willingness to work towards - Significant hands-on experience in multi-trade work within domestic or commercial construction. - Excellent communication and organisational skills. Desirable: - Teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training / AET, PTLLS, or higher). - Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33). - Previous experience delivering training or mentoring in a construction environment.

Plumbing and Electrical trainer

Hours - 37.5 Hours per week 

Salary - £30,000 

Responsible To - Deputy Principal
